Review of Jumiso Have a Good Cream (Snail & Centella)

We were gifted the Have a Good Cream by Jumiso for our honest opinion and review. Jess of Seoul Glow tested the product over a period of 4 weeks and provides her thoughts below.

Summary: I’ve been testing the Jumiso Have a Good Cream for just over four weeks. I love Snail Mucin and Centella as skincare ingredients so this moisturiser sounded like the perfect combination!

Skin Type: My skin type is dehydrated and blemish prone. I tend to look for products with ingredients that are gentle and soothing as well as hydrating. I suffer from really dehydrated skin so hydration is key for me!

Packaging: This 50g product is contained in a sturdy jar and comes in a cardboard box with Jumiso's cute signature characters. The product is sealed within the jar with a removable lid and also with a screw on plastic top.

Notable Ingredients:

Centella – one of my favourite ingredients in skincare! Centella is great for soothing irritated skin, blemishes and helps healing and prevention of scarring from acne. It also strengthens skin as well as stimulates cell growth and collagen production.

Snail Secretion Filtrate – this is probably one of the most infamous ingredients in Korean skincare. Snail secretion filtrate helps hydrate skin and also reduces the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles. However I was surprised to see this quite far down in the ingredients list given that it features in the name of the product.

Squalene – this helps lock in moisture and is great for those suffering from dry skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce redness, making it great for those with acne prone skin.

Consistency and Scent: This moisturiser is light weight, absorbs quickly into my skin and does not leave a greasy residue. I prefer a more heavy duty moisturiser for my evening routine so I have been using this as part of my morning routine.

This product has a slight citrus scent which personally I do not mind however those who are sensitive to scents may find it a bit overwhelming.

Result: I've been using this product most mornings for just over four weeks. I find a lot of moisturisers can cause pilling when I apply my make up after and I was pleased to find that I did not experience pilling with this moisturiser. It's a nice product however my skin tends to require something a bit more heavy duty during the winter months so I think this product would be more suited to my skin during the warmer seasons! I would recommend this product for anyone who has sensitive and/or acne prone skin.

Overall Rating: I would rate this product 4 out of 5 stars
